You couldn’t be more wrong if you think looking after your eyebrows and keeping them in good condition are a waste of time. It’s a part of your face that may appear insignificant, but actually makes a huge difference to your appearance. Beautifully shaped brows with a natural arch are the key to achieving that perfect polished look. When done well, a good eyebrow shape will frame your eyes, and make them appear more open. Be warned though, plucking your eyebrows is a lasting change – it will not wash away like a makeup disaster! The most common do-it-yourself mistakes are over-tweezing: which would result in giving your face that permanently surprised expression, and the unflattering fish-hook shape: when the thickest part of the brow gets much thinner abruptly.
If you’re brave enough to pick up those tweezers, then ALWAYS pluck from underneath your brows and for amateurs – do stick to plucking only the stray hairs, trying not to change the natural shape too much.
